![]() ![]() So just hit select and then if you can't exit end the task. I wasn't going to mess with it but curiosity won out, so I went in and found the screen. Someone may recognize where I was and the solution is in that area. I would guess the solution will translate to 10 but I don't know. So since I have seen no solution anywhere for this problem I posted it here. Then you end the properties with task manager and it will work. If you have the problem I am guessing that you will not be able to exit this screen. ![]() The screen that came up from this said something about object location, or maybe object group? Lookup, checkname, examples (I remember computer1 in a list of names in this). So looking now I was in properties, security, advanced, effective permissions. I finally pulled up task manager and ended the properties task. I had no idea it would solve things so I have no pictures. I freaked as I was deep into properties and security of all things. My 3 year old wumped (bottom left area, maybe windows key) my keyboard and another screen came up. I was into the security properties of the folder which I have no clue about but I'm comparing trying to find what makes it different. You’ll see Add-ins listed on the side of the Outlook Options dialog. In newer versions of Outlook, you click on File and then Options. Then, once Outlook loads, go to Tools from the top menu and then Trust Center. ![]() Most problems seem to be they can't open any folders etc. First, go to C:ProgramsMicrosoft OfficeOfficeXX, right click on the Outlook.exe program and choose Run as Administrator. I've been reading and trying to find and answer and no luck. So I solved it, but I'm not a computer guy so I don't know exactly what I did, although my 3 year old inadvertently helped, well caused the solution. Most of the solutions were hacking in the registry. It was specific to that name as changing the name allowed double click. I could go through explorer to access it. Was moving files around and suddenly one folder would not open with double click. And I am using windows 7 but this is one of the places that someone had the same specific name issue.
